Job Description Summary

Primary function is to test components, assemblies, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Test Hydro-Gear components, assemblies and products, applying knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulics and hydraulic components.
  • Record and analyze test data to determine if product meets the test requirements.
  • Measure capabilities and performance of new and existing products.
  • Design tests/stands to qualify new products and to support changes to existing products.
  • Assemble and maintain test stands and equipment.
  • Procure components and services for development and maintenance test stands.
  • Assemble, test and evaluate prototype hardware.
  • Communicate both orally and in writing with personnel regarding testing, test procedures, evaluation of tested units.
  • Support Product Design teams in development of new products and existing product improvements.
  • Research new test equipment and test processes.

Education And/Or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A /B.S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and or/ training; or equivalent combination or education and experience. Current Driver’s License. Operate computer with use of Microsoft Office, MTMS and other databases. Knowledge of fluid power dynamics a plus.
