Hydro-Gear now offers a new type of hydraulic motor that is primarily applicable as a drive motor in turf vehicles and perfectly complements the Hydro-Gear P-Series line of hydraulic pumps.

It is also suitable for a wide range of other applications that require a motor that is both compact and delivers high efficiency.

The HGM is provided with a new type of hydraulically balanced disc valve which ensures high efficiencies even at high pressures, and the rollers in the gear rim ensure a long operating life under the most demanding operating conditions.

HGM motors convert hydraulic energy (pressure and oil flow) into mechanical energy (torque and speed). The motors are available in a range of fixed displacement designs. For a given displacement, the oil flow rate determines the speed and the pressure differential determines the torque.
